1. Information You Provide

NameNova does not currently require users to create an account, sign in, or provide a name, email address, phone number, postal address, contact list, photograph, or payment information directly to us.

To generate name suggestions, you may voluntarily select or enter information such as:

• Country or cultural preference;
• Language preference;
• Name category or gender preference;
• Name style, meaning, origin, or other generation criteria;
• Optional words, keywords, or text submitted for name generation.

The information entered for name generation should not contain confidential, personal, financial, medical, or other sensitive information.

2. AI-Based Name Generation

NameNova may use Google Firebase AI services, Google Gemini models, or related Google cloud technologies to process name-generation requests and return generated name suggestions.

The criteria, keywords, or text submitted for name generation may be transmitted from your device to Google-operated services for the purpose of generating the requested response, maintaining service security, preventing abuse, and improving service reliability.

We do not operate a user-account database and do not intentionally use your name-generation requests to identify you personally. Information processed by Google services is also subject to Google’s applicable privacy policies and service terms.

AI-generated results may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, unexpected, or unsuitable for a particular purpose. Users should independently review generated results before using them.

3. Information Stored Locally on Your Device

The App may store certain settings and operational information locally on your device, including:

• Selected app language;
• Selected country or regional preference;
• Light, dark, or system theme preference;
• Onboarding completion status;
• Name-generation activity counters;
• Advertising display timing or frequency information;
• Consent and privacy preference status where applicable;
• Other settings required for the App to function correctly.

Locally stored information generally remains on your device until you clear the App’s storage, reset the App, or uninstall it.

4. Advertising and Google AdMob

NameNova displays advertising through Google AdMob. The App may show banner advertisements, interstitial advertisements, and rewarded advertisements.

Google Mobile Ads SDK and its advertising partners may automatically collect, process, and share certain information for advertising, analytics, service delivery, security, and fraud-prevention purposes, including:

• IP address, which may be used to estimate general location;
• Advertising ID, App Set ID, and other device identifiers;
• Device type, operating system, language, and technical information;
• App launches, taps, ad views, video views, and other app interactions;
• Advertising interactions and performance information;
• Crash, diagnostic, performance, and service reliability information;
• Information used to detect invalid traffic, abuse, and advertising fraud.

Depending on your location, consent choices, device settings, and applicable law, Google may provide personalized or non-personalized advertisements.

We do not control the content of advertisements selected and delivered by Google or participating advertising partners.

5. Consent and Privacy Choices

NameNova uses Google’s User Messaging Platform or a similar consent mechanism to request and manage advertising privacy choices where required by applicable law.

The consent message shown to you may vary depending on your country, region, age eligibility, device settings, and applicable privacy regulations.

Where available, you may review or change your advertising privacy choices through the App’s privacy options, consent message, device settings, or Google advertising settings.

6. Firebase App Check and Service Security

NameNova may use Firebase App Check or similar technologies to verify that requests are coming from an authentic version of the App and to protect Google services, AI resources, and associated infrastructure against unauthorized access, impersonation, spam, fraud, and abuse.

These services may process technical information, application identifiers, package information, integrity signals, device attestation signals, IP addresses, and related security information.

7. Google Play Services and App Updates

The App may interact with Google Play services to provide core Android functionality, security, advertising services, and Google Play in-app updates.

When an updated version of NameNova is available through Google Play, the App may check update availability and display an update message. The download and installation process is managed by Google Play according to Google’s terms and privacy practices.

8. Android Permissions

Depending on the App version and device, NameNova may use the following Android permissions:

• Internet access: Used to generate names through online services, load advertisements, obtain consent information, and access update-related services.
• Network state: Used to determine whether an internet connection is available.
• Advertising ID: Used by Google Mobile Ads and advertising partners for advertising, analytics, measurement, frequency control, and fraud prevention, subject to consent and device settings.

NameNova does not currently request access to your contacts, microphone, camera, precise GPS location, SMS messages, call logs, or media files as part of its normal core functionality.

9. How Information Is Used

Information may be processed for the following purposes:

• Providing and operating the name-generation features;
• Remembering your selected preferences;
• Displaying and measuring advertisements;
• Managing user consent and privacy choices;
• Detecting fraud, spam, abuse, and unauthorized usage;
• Maintaining App security, stability, and performance;
• Diagnosing technical problems;
• Providing app updates and improving the user experience;
• Complying with applicable laws, regulations, and legal obligations.

10. How Information May Be Shared

We may allow information to be processed by third-party service providers only as necessary to operate and support the App. These providers may include:

• Google AdMob and participating advertising partners;
• Google User Messaging Platform;
• Google Play services;
• Google Firebase services;
• Firebase App Check;
• Google Gemini or Firebase AI services;
• Security, diagnostic, infrastructure, and fraud-prevention providers.

We may also disclose information where required by law, legal process, court order, government request, or where reasonably necessary to protect users, the public, our rights, or the security of the App.

We do not independently maintain a database of users’ personal information for sale.

11. Data Retention and Deletion

NameNova does not currently provide user accounts and does not maintain an account profile database.

App preferences and operational information stored locally can generally be deleted by:

• Opening Android Settings;
• Selecting Apps or Application Management;
• Selecting NameNova;
• Selecting Storage;
• Choosing Clear Data or Clear Storage.

Uninstalling the App will also remove information stored locally by NameNova, subject to your device’s operating system and backup settings.

Information processed by Google or other third-party providers is retained and deleted according to their respective privacy policies, legal obligations, security requirements, and retention practices.

12. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the App and information processed through it. Network communication with supported Google services is generally protected using encrypted connections such as HTTPS or TLS.

However, no internet transmission, electronic storage system, mobile application, or security method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

13. Children’s Privacy

NameNova is intended for a general audience and is not specifically directed to children under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly request or intentionally collect personal information directly from children under 13. A parent or legal guardian who believes that a child has provided personal information through the App should contact us so that the matter can be reviewed.

14. International Data Processing

Google and other service providers may process information on servers located outside your country of residence. Data protection rules in those locations may differ from the laws of your country.

By using the App, you understand that information may be processed internationally as necessary to provide the App’s online, advertising, AI, security, and infrastructure services.

We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, third-party services, legal requirements, or our data practices change.

Updated versions will be published on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the App after an update means that the updated Privacy Policy will apply to your future use of the App.
